The Minister’s Cabinet has reviewed a Draft Government Decree on Defining a Social Security Package, as reported by the Government Administration following the Cabinet meeting.
“According to the amendments, social allowances shall increase for disabled children and adults with acute disabilities from January 2024 in the value of GEL 50 to reach GEL 340-390.
Cash allowance for persons with disabilities of any category shall increase by GEL 20, including the acute ones from GEL 175 to GEL 195L.
State Budget earmarking towards this end amounts to GEL 46 mln. Increased social security packages shall apply to almost 123,000 beneficiaries,” the Government Administration states.
