The Ministry of Finance published 2023 budget report for 10 months. According to the document, the revenue service collected GEL 13,933,650,900 from taxes, which was 83% of the 2023 budget plan, so GEL 2,776,700,000 should be mobilized in the remaining months (November and December) to fulfill the budget.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the largest sum came from VAT, followed by income and excise taxes.
The Indicators Of Tax Mobilization In 10M2023:
* Value added tax - GEL 5,618,818,100, 82% of the annual plan;
* Income tax - GEl 4,631,549,000, 84% of the annual plan;
* Profit tax - GEL 1,704,694,200, 85% of the annual plan;
* Excise tax - GEL 1,836,683,000, 83% of the annual plan;
* Import tax - GEL 127,834,800, 85% of the annual plan.
As for the income from the privatization of state property, it amounted to GEL 103.5 million, which was 51.8% of the annual plan (of GEL 200 million).
