The Government of Georgia issued Resolution 428 on August 22, which established new COVID tariffs for clinics. In particular, according to the document, for a patient who is subject to therapeutic interventions and is not managed in the intensive care unit, the treatment will be reimbursed with GEL 950, and when the patient needs invasive and/or non-invasive ventilation with CPAP/high-flow device in the intensive care unit for a certain period of time - is compensated by GEL 4500;
According to the decree, the tariff includes expenses related to patient treatment and/or diagnosis, including meals, as well as salaries of medical staff, utilities and utility/economic expenses;
The document also notes that if the patient is hospitalized for another reason, the case will be reimbursed within the framework of approved programs, in accordance with the conditions, co-payment amount and limits, and the expenses related to COVID-19 will be reimbursed in the amount of 50% of the tariff.
