In 1Q2025, the Georgian government spent a record amount of 153 million GEL on salaries of non-staff employees. This was 28.6 million GEL more than in the same period of 2024. This is reported in the state budget performance report.
In addition, in 2024 itself, the government paid a record 606 million GEL in salaries to non-staff employees, and the salaries of this category of employees maintain an increasing trend every year. Accordingly, it is expected that it will increase further this year.
As for full-time employees, their salaries amounted to 685 million GEL, which was 95 million GEL more than in the same period of the previous year.
