The Georgian Government has revealed plans for a new ropeway that will serve 1,800 passengers per hour in the country’s northern Gudauri ski resort, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said on Monday.
Speaking at the weekly Government meeting, the PM said the new cable car would reach the length of 2,800 metres on slopes of the location.
He also noted installation of snowmaking machines was also planned on two tracks in the resort to ensure a “more comfortable environment” for holidaymakers during a lack of precipitation.
