The Georgian government has decided to purchase the property of LLC “LJ and Company – West Georgia Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases Center” in Kutaisi. The decision aims to ensure the smooth implementation of mandatory treatment programs for individuals with drug addiction, according to the official decree.
The total cost of the acquisition will not exceed GEL 8,008,410, and the process will be carried out by Georgian Medical Holding, which operates under the Ministry of Health.
The property includes 11,876 sq.m. of non-agricultural land at 20 Chkhobadze Street, Kutaisi, along with four buildings and related structures valued at GEL 6.3 million. In addition, medical and office equipment, including beds, oxygen concentrators, and other medical devices, are valued at GEL 1.69 million.
To complete the project, the Ministry of Health will allocate a total of GEL 8.15 million, with GEL 150,000 designated for additional equipment and facility rehabilitation to enable full implementation of the center’s mandatory treatment functions. The decree was signed by GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
