Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases declares that the Government of Georgia might consider rules for face mask-wearing in outdoor public spaces.
“I would not be in favor to refuse to wear of face mask, as this is the sole regulation, which strongly protects us from infection. Last month showed that those who wore face masks were not infected. The government is considering relaxing guidelines for wearing face masks in outdoor spaces. I personally support the relaxing of wearing face masks in outdoor spaces, but not indoor spaces. We still need a face mask indoor spaces," Tengiz Tsertsvadze said.
