Growth In Economy, Brings Higher Corruption Risks - Razden Kuprashvili

კუპრაშვილი

Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Razden Kuprashvili, says that economic growth often increases corruption risks, and the government must counter this with reforms and sound policy decisions.

“In conditions when the economy is growing, corruption risks increase. We must respond with reforms and correct decisions,” Kuprashvili told journalists, responding to questions about alleged corruption under Georgian Dream.

He added that recent legislative amendments initiated by the Prime Minister are aimed at addressing these risks.

Kuprashvili also noted that the Anti-Corruption Bureau is holding a meeting with public sector representatives to discuss anti-corruption policy and upcoming legal changes set to take effect between September and November.
