GT Group, one of Georgia’s leading multibrand companies, has been appointed the exclusive authorized dealer of BYD in Georgia beginning in 2026. Although the local electric vehicle market has grown rapidly, BYD models have so far been largely inaccessible to Georgian consumers with official warranties, certified service, qualified technical support, and original spare parts. Starting next year, GT Group will introduce BYD’s full authorized dealership standards, offering customers reliable after-sales service that meets both GT Group and BYD’s global requirements.
To mark this milestone, the company invited representatives of Georgian business media and industry leaders to the annual BYD E-Journey 2026 in Zhengzhou, China. From May 11–15, attendees explored the world’s largest EV manufacturing operations, including the BYD Zhengzhou industrial complex, where seven different models are produced daily on three integrated lines. Guests also visited BYD Di Space, showcasing the brand's history, technology, and innovations.
Participants test-drove BYD’s DENZA and YANGWANG models on professional race and off-road tracks and were introduced to the company’s ultra-fast charging technology capable of powering EVs in just minutes. BYD, the world’s largest producer of new electric vehicles, manufactures its own batteries, semiconductors, electric motors, and platforms, offering models from budget EVs to ultra-premium performance cars.
GT Group has operated in Georgia for 21 years, representing brands such as Castrol, New Holland, Iveco, Ford Trucks, Case Construction, Shacman, Isuzu, Mastercraft, and Marex. Through GT Motors, it also serves as the official dealer for BMW, MINI, Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, and Suzuki in Georgia.
