GT Motors has once again been honored with the President’s Award from BMW, one of the world’s leading automotive brands. This prestigious recognition has now been awarded for the second time to BMW’s team in Georgia. The award was presented to the team during an international conference held in Munich, attended by representatives from 45 countries within BMW Group’s C3-R1 region, which includes Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
“We are delighted to have received this distinguished award in both our first and second years of operation. It is a great honor to represent the BMW brand in Georgia, and each member of our team works tirelessly to ensure the brand is presented at the highest standard. It is especially rewarding to see our efforts recognized by the regional office. This is only the beginning—many more achievements lie ahead. Our new showroom, which will be the largest and most prominent in the region, will significantly contribute to our continued success,” stated Tamuna Diasamidze, Head of BMW and MINI Sales Department at GT Motors.
GT Motors has been representing BMW since September 2022, and within less than three years of partnership, the company has already achieved internationally recognized milestones. Among its accomplishments are major international events organized in Georgia in collaboration with the global brand, including exclusive test drives of limited-edition vehicles and automotive tours. These initiatives not only promote the BMW brand but also serve to enhance global awareness of Georgia’s tourism potential.
The BMW President’s Award was first granted to the Georgian team in the very first year of its collaboration with the brand, highlighting the effectiveness of its operational strategy. GT Motors has ambitious plans under its partnership with BMW Global. The company is currently developing a new BMW and MINI showroom, designed according to the latest global standards, which will be one of the largest facilities of its kind in the region. The project, a collaboration between German and Georgian architects, involves a multimillion-lari investment.
The forthcoming facility will operate under the “Retail.Next” model—BMW’s innovative retail concept, which has already proven successful in numerous countries worldwide.
