Georgian fashion brand Hamo has increased its sales on international markets by 50-60% over the past three to four months, according to founder Mariam Tavberidze. Overall sales, including in Georgia, have grown by around 30-40% following the brand’s participation in Kazakhstan Fashion Week.
Kazakhstan has seen particularly strong growth since the event, with Hamo spending about a month bringing its collection to the market and strengthening communications. The brand sells through its showroom and official website, while continuing to expand its international presence.
Hamo’s next major step is participation in the Tranoï exhibition during Paris Fashion Week, where it will present its collection to international buyers. The event could help the brand establish wholesale relationships with platforms such as Zalando and Net-a-Porter.
Tavberidze said Tranoï does not guarantee new export orders but significantly increases the opportunity to attract international buyers. Founded in 2020, Hamo focuses on limited collections and distinctive designs inspired by Asian, European and African styles.
