Twindemic has not been registered yet, - the head of the National Center for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze said today after the meeting of the Coordination Council.
As he explains, Twindemic will occur when influenza and covid-viruses overlap.
"Twindemic is when two infections circulate at the same time. So far no flu virus has appeared. Influenza-like viruses are circulating in the country, but Twindemic has not been reported yet," Gamkrelidze explained.
