Having more than three pets (dogs, cats) in an apartment of a multi-apartment residential building will be allowed based on the consent of the majority of the apartment owners.
Such restriction is envisaged by the draft law "On domestic animals", which was initiated in the parliament by the deputies of "Georgian Dream".
Considering the project, the said restriction does not apply to an animal whose age does not exceed 2 months.
Having more than three pets (dogs, cats) aged two months or more in an apartment of a multi-apartment residential building without the consent of the majority of the apartment owners will result in the owner being fined in the amount of 300 GEL.
