Everything is being done in the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Ekaterine Tikaradze, Minister of Health, said in Parliament on Wednesday.
According to Ekaterine Tikaradze, if a case of the virus is confirmed, the country is ready to provide patients with prompt and high quality health care.
“I would like to publicly thank the medical staff, the whole team of epidemiologists, the Lugar Laboratory, as well as the staff of the Disease Control Service, Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center for their hard work and active cooperation. As you know, the National Center for Disease Control, in particular the Lugar Laboratory, can identify / diagnose the virus on Georgia,” the minister said.
