The Committee started the thematic inquiry on the impact of the measures undertaken by the executive agencies to respond to the pandemic-related challenges on the efficiency of the social protection system of the country.
“The Committee, within the oversight function, launched a new thematic inquiry to, backed by the international partners and experts, estimate their activities according to their impact. In this certain case, the inquiry aims at the specification of the efficiency of the steps taken by the executive authority during the pandemic, namely, the social support programs, to measure the highest economic feedback thereof”, - the Head of the Thematic Inquiry Group, member of the Committee, Vice-Speaker, David Sergeenko stated.
The working meetings have already been held with the field specialists and experts to determine the tasks, by which the obtained information and analytical material will allow the better planning of the social support programs.
“During the month, we will receive the information from the field experts, Governmental organizations and NGOs, their consolidated opinion allowing us to issue the exact recommendations to the executive authority about the further steps”, - he added.
