Healthy food cafe "Dro" was opened on Irakli Abashidze Street in Vake. The cafe is a subsidiary of BCA healthy, a company that helps people become slim. According to Giorgi Vadachkoria, the co-founder of the company, nutritionists participate in the creation of dishes together with the chefs, and this is the main niche of the cafe - there is a balanced amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates in all dishes.
"We have the company BCA healthy, which helps people to become slim and creates special dishes for it. Our customers want to create a space where they could take healthy food even after achieving the desired results, so we decided to create cafe "Dro". We make healthy dishes without sugar or gluten. In our food, the protein, fat and carbohydrates are balanced in such a way that the body receives the required amount of nutrients. Our dishes are delicious as well as useful," said Giorgi Vadachkoria.
According to him, the initial activity is higher than expected. Speaking about the challenges, the co-founder of "Dro" says that the main difficulty was setting an acceptable price for the dishes.
"I always thought that healthy food should be affordable, the price of our meals starts from 6-14 GEL, which we think is the most affordable in the field of healthy food. It is low," Giorgi Vadachkoria says.
Currently, the cafe employs 14 people, including students, and its co-founder, speaking to BM.GE, notes that the offer of a high salary and flexible schedule has made it easier to find qualified personnel.
BCA healthy has been operating on the market for four years, has more than 4,000 active users, and last year became a partner of Manny Benish in Shark Tank, which invested GEL 90,000 in the development of the company.
