An auction was held on the Armenian Stock Exchange for the placement of government bonds totaling $54 million. The auction attracted significant interest from investors, particularly in long-term securities.
The main focus was on the 20-year government bonds. The offering volume for these bonds was $51.7 million, and it was fully subscribed. Moreover, the demand significantly exceeded the supply, reaching $92.2 million.
The situation with 30-year bonds was less remarkable. Out of the offered $25.8 million, only $2.3 million was placed. Nevertheless, demand for these ultra-long-term bonds totaled $22.9 million, which can also be seen as a positive indicator.
It's important to note that Armenian government bonds can be purchased both on the Armenian Stock Exchange and through the online platform gp.minfin.am, making the process of investing in government securities more accessible to a wide range of investors.
