Georgia is continuing to develop high-speed internet infrastructure in the country's regional areas, making the internet accessible for the rural population.
At today's government meeting the government decided to make internet available in 49 villages of Ozurgeti.
Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said that making high-speed internet accessible to all villages of Georgia is 'extremely important’ and a ‘task that needs to be solved quickly'.
"It is important in order for farmers to be able to work efficiently, for children to get an education and to bring standards of life to the villages", Gakharia said.
