A new Hilton Hotel is being built in Tskaltubo by Aka Holding, with a total investment of €18 million. The 122-room hotel is part of Georgia’s state program “New Life for Tskaltubo” and will be located on the site of the former sanatorium “Tbilisi.”
“The agreement was signed on June 4. Work has already started, and the hotel will be completed in 2.5 years,” said investor Jamata Charkviani, adding that the project includes suites, presidential, and standard rooms with full Hilton-standard infrastructure.
Aka Holding acquired the sanatorium from the state for 3.15 million GEL, committing to build a hotel with at least 110 rooms and invest no less than 9.4 million GEL within 55 months from January 1, 2023.
The Hilton-branded hotel is expected to boost tourism and investment appeal in the historic spa town of Tskaltubo.
