Irakli Goguadze, founder of Unix Hotels Georgia in Bakuriani, deeply hopes that the hotel will be at least able to pay off the debt this season.
According to him, due to increased demand, some hotels adjusted their prices and became equal to Gudauri in terms of service costs.
Demand could not meet supply, therefore, it was necessary to increase prices. However, he himself did not increase the costs.
"Some hotels adjusted their prices, while others did not. For example, I did not increase the cost of accommodation price. I do not think that when demand increases, you should also increase the price. In general, prices have increased and have become equal to Gudauri.
We hope that the hotel will be at least able to pay off the debt this season. Otherwise, we don't expect to go home with a profit," says Goguadze.
The founder of Unix Hotels Georgia talks about the season when there was no snow in Bakuriani and accordingly, the season failed. As of him, for the last 2 years, they have been trying to compensate the loss.
"I am trying to develop, but during the last 2 years, the season failed due to the lack of snow. Most likely, this season will also be used to pay the debt," said Irakli Goguadze.
