Hotel "Crystal", located in Bakuriani, will operate an artificial snowmaking system on its skating tracks this year. Vladimir Stepaniani, the founder of "Crystal Group", told TV-program "Women's Narrative".
"Last year showed us once again that a tourist season without an artificial snowmaking system was inevitable for "Crystal". We made a lake, installed a special system and this year we will cover the 2.5-kilometer ski track with artificial snowmaking system," Vladimir Stepaniani said.
"Crystal Group" made its own investment of GEL 5 million for the implementation of the artificial snowmaking system.
In the program, Vladimir Stepaniani announced another large-scale project, the construction of an amusement park, on which work has already begun. According to him, it will be an entertainment space for vacationers of all ages, including the extreme fun-loving youth.
Crystal Hotel was opened in 2009. Initially, it was a small hotel with 27 rooms, which was gradually developed and today it is represented by 107 rooms, a spa center, pools, restaurants and bars.
About 300 people are employed in "Crystal".
