Luxury hotel Gistola will be opened in Mestia from May 6. Irakli Gurchiani, founder of Toyota Centre Tbilisi and 100% stakeholder of LLC Gistola has invested 5 million USD in the construction of the hotel.
Maia Murachashvili told BMG, that the hotel will be launched in a test-mode from May 6, while the hotel starts operation with a full load from late May.
“Luxury hotel Gistola has 45 rooms, restaurant, lounge and the first night club in Mestia. The club will invite DJs later. The hotel also owns a conference hall, which can host over 80 persons in line with the current regulations. We also have kids’ corner in the garden and entertainment center. Hotel guests can enjoy with scooters”, Maia Murachashvili said.
Gistola will employ over 45 locals. The hotel management expects guests from domestic as well as international tourism.
“Some interests have already raised from the Czech Republic, France, Ukraine, Israel. We expect their arrival in June, but everything depends on the epidemic," - said the hotel manager.
The investor started construction of the hotel in 2016, but the process was suspended and construction was renovated in 2018. The hotel opening was scheduled in 2019 but delayed due to the pandemic.
