Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) has published its 2020 activity report. The document contains an overview of electricity consumption tariffs in different countries.
According to the report, as of 2020, the average price of one kilowatt-hour of electricity in Georgia is 23.5 tetri, which is one of the lowest tariffs in Europe. Cheaper electricity is available only in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Kosovo.
As for the highest consumer tariff, the electricity tariff is the highest in Western European countries. The price of one kilowatt is the most expensive in Germany, where it costs 108 tetri.
