Nika Manjgaladze, General Manager of TravelShop and founder of Restaurant “Z 10”, positively evaluates the government’s decision to shift curfew until 23:00 and declares, that it already has an impact on the restaurant business.
“Easing of curfew already has changed the situation on the restaurant business. Customers actively make bookings on evening hours, which has increased restaurant load by 15%”, Nika Manjgaladze declares.
General Manager of TravelShop notes, that easing of regulations will have an impact on the tourism sector within a week.
“We disseminated the news on easing the curfew on the international market, but it does not have an impact on the demand of foreign visitors yet”, - Nika Manjgaladze notes.
The General Manager of TravelShop notes that the company has many bookings from Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
“We are now hosting tourists from Kirgizstan. We have dramatically changed their agenda due to easing the curfew because now they have more time for various activities. We have added a tour in Kakheti”, - Nika Manjgaladze declares.
The General Manager of TravelShop has positive expectations linked to the summer season and notes, that in parallel with the increase in the number of foreign travelers, the cost of accommodation and hotels has begun to increase at the seaside.
“Georgia is not on the “Green List” and we don’t expect tourists from Europe, but we have bookings from the CIS countries. Expectations are rather positive, load and prices are already increased, which will positively reflect on the sectors’ financial rates”, representative of the sector declares.
