Tens of thousands of Georgian citizens have a monthly income of GEL 100 or less. Only 735 individuals have an income of more than GEL 100,000.
In March, the lowest-income individuals earned a total of GEL 2,047 million. As of April 17, their number amounted to 72,389. 16 766 persons received a monthly income of GEL 100 or less, while 35,057 individuals had an income of over GEL 100 or less than GEL 200.
According to the Revenue Service, last month 264,199 people were paid in the average nominal salary (GEL 1,464), or their monthly income was more than GEL 1200 and less than GEL 2400. The total taxable income exceeded GEL 437.8 million.

• GEL 90 000 - 100 000 - 105 persons / taxable income - GEL 9.94 million
• GEL 100 000 and more - 735 persons / taxable income - GEL 332.8 million.
In January 2022, more than GEL 100 thousand, which includes both salaries and other income, was received by 616 people, and in February - 707 individuals.
According to official data, the number and income of high-income individuals have increased dramatically in recent years:
• March 2022 - 735 persons / taxable income - 332.8 mln
• March 2021 - 577 persons / taxable income - 218.06 mln
• March 2020 - 551 persons / taxable income - 240.66 mln
• March 2019 - 410 persons / taxable income - 189.8 mln
• March 2018 - 527 persons / taxable income - 232.6 mln.
