4.7 Million USD worth persimmons have been exported from Georgia between September 1-November 21.
According to the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, 9 344 tons of persimmons have been exported.
The Ministry declares, that exports of persimmons from Georgia have been increased by 25% (1,878 tons) y-o-y, while the value of exports was up by 17% (USD 686 thousand).
The main export market for Georgian persimmons is Armenia (3,566 tons). The volume of persimmons exported to Russia amounts to 3 358 tons, Ukraine - 2,202 tons, Turkey - 108 tons, Kazakhstan - 62 tons and Moldova - 39 tons.
