United Airports of Georgia published a financial report for 2023. The document reveals, how much money the state pays Hungarian airlines for operating in Georgia.

According to the financial report, the union of airports spent GEL 12,661,000 in this direction in 2023, which was GEL 5.3 million more than in 2022.

Wizz Air is the number one airline in Georgia by the number of transferred passengers. In 2023, the air company served 1,270,737 passengers in Georgia, which was 116% more than in 2022.

As of the agreement signed between the state and Wizz Air, state assistance from the United Airports of Georgia is dependent on the number of passengers, transferred by the air company, but the financial assistance should not exceed 4 million EUR per year.

United Airports of Georgia's promotion program for flights aims to increase the passenger flow from Georgia to abroad.
