In September 2021, Georgia exported products USD 374 million worth abroad, which was 13% more compared to the previous year, - show the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
According to the document, imports increased by 23.4% to USD 926 million in September. The volume of imports y-o-y is grown by USD 176 million.
As for the results of the three quarters as a whole, Georgia's exports during this period stood at USD 2.98 billion, which is 24% more than the previous year. Imports were USD 7.03 billion, up 21.6% from a year earlier.
According to Geostat, detailed data on Georgia's foreign trade will be published on October 19.
