Last year, the Georgian corridor handled more than 1300 trucks per day. Only in December, over 45 560 trucks used the Georgian corridor in December.
Toll revenues were also record-breaking, exceeding GEL 15.9 million in just one month.
According to the data, the state budget received GEL 66.4 million from freight transportation, the figure was 2 folds up compared to 2021.

The Georgian government has increased the toll for thousands of transit trailers from June 20, so each trailer will have to pay GEL 350 instead of GEL 200.
In total, in 2022, approximately 448,335 trucks passed through the Georgian corridor, while in 2021 this figure stood at 332,070.
