"Heidelberg Cement", the largest cement producer in Georgia, has published its 2021 financial report. According to the document, last year the company earned GEL 415 million, which was GEL 52 million more than the previous year.
According to the report, the net profit of "Heidelberg" also improved sharply, which amounted to GEL 93 million. In 2020, instead of profit, the company was at a loss of 11 million.
According to the financial report, last year the company's revenues were distributed as follows:
• Cement - GEL 257 million;
• Concrete - GEL 107 million;
• Clinker - GEL 31.3 million.
According to the audited report, the cost of goods sold by the company was GEL 286 million. Of this, fuel cost amounted to GEL 40 million, and electricity - GEL 43 million. "Heidelberg" spent GEL 56.5 million directly on the purchase of raw materials.
As for general and administrative expenses, it amounted to GEL 19.4 million.
"Heidelbergcement" owns the cement factories located in Rustavi and Kaspi, as well as 16 concrete manufacturing enterprises throughout the country.
100% of the company's share is owned by the company "CaucasusCement Holding B.V." operating in the Netherlands.
