The Ministry of Finance published the 6-month report on the performance of the 2023 budget. According to the document, the budget collected taxes of GEL 8.04 billion, which was 102.6% of the plan.
Budget performance according to the taxes:
• Value added tax - GEL 3.2 billion, 103.6% of the plan;
• Income tax - GEL 2.77 billion, 107.9% of the plan;
• Profit tax - GEL 1.12 billion, 101.6% of the plan;
• Excise duty - GEL965 million, 120.1% of the plan;
• Import tax - GEL 71 million, 130% of the plan.
