The Ministry of Finance published the 2-month report on the performance of the 2023 budget. According to the document, the budget collected taxes of GEL 2.8 billion, which was 68% of the plan.
Budget performance according to the taxes:
• VAT - GEL 1,038 million, 70% of the annual plan;
• Income tax - GEL 954 billion, 75% of the annual plan;
• Profit tax - GEL 284 million, 41% of the annual plan;
• Value added tax - GEL 4.9 billion, 85% of the annual plan;
• Excise duty - GEL 273 million, 82% of the annual plan.
Accoridng to the Ministry of Finance, the privatization plan has been GEL 28 million for 1Q2023, while the performance has made up GEL 110 thousand, which is 0.4% of the plan.
