The draft budget for 2022 reports, that the pension will increase from January. According to the main financial document of the country, 2.885 billion GEL (increased by 285.0 million GEL) will be spent on pensions next year.
In particular, according to the existing plan, from January 2022, the amount to be paid to pensioners under the age of 70 will increase by 20 GEL to 260 GEL.
According to the same law, the pension for people aged 70 and over will increase by 25 GEL to 300 GEL from January 2022.
As for the pensioners living in the highland settlement, the amount of the pension will be 312 GEL for persons under 70 years of age, and 360 GEL for persons aged 70 and over.
