I don't think that sanctions will be put on me, - businessman Irakli Rukhadze sated this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
Irakli Rukhadze says that the US cannot sanction him because he is an American citizen.
"Another country can sanction me, America cannot, the country where I am a citizen cannot sanction me," Rukhadze said in an interview with Radio "Liberty.
The owner of the state-owned TV channel speaks about the Ukrainian sanctions and states that "Ukrainian sanctions do not bother him".
"I do not think that sanctions will be put on me, but the situation does not make me happy in general... I was sanctioned by Ukraine, which I love very much, I have a huge business in Ukraine and I am crazy about traveling to Ukraine, I always loved it and it was an unimaginable tragedy for me when Russia invaded Ukraine and when my friends sent me pictures of bombs dropped next to my house... and I want to apologize to this country and my friends "I have to admit, this is hard for me," Rukhadze said.
