The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, explains why Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili resigned.
As the Prime Minister told journalists, he saw a problem in the direction of communication, including relating to the issue of the Republican Hospital.
"I had a conversation with him this morning. I saw problems in terms of management communication. In this regard, there was dissatisfaction in the medical community. I myself was convinced on the example of the Republican hospital that such problems existed. Accordingly, we had an absolutely healthy conversation regarding all of this, and based on this, a decision was made that the Minister of Health would resign," said Kobakhidze.
