Valeri Checheria, executive director of Rooms Hotel delcares, that 2023 was a positive year, and expectations for the winter season are even more optimistic.
As Chekheria mentioned in a conversation with BM.GE, granting EU candidate status to Georgia will be a prerequisite for the arrival of many foreign guests and holding of more international conferences.
"I would sum up this year positively. Of course, I would like to have more European tourists and with the candidate status I am sure that it will be so. We expect it to be a busy year at the winter resorts because we are hosting the World Championships in Bakuriani. We expect that both Gudauri and Kazbegi will be busy. I am also sure that a better year is coming than it was, although I would still evaluate this year positively", said Valeri Chekheria.
