Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili has once again urged the Swiss Embassy to disclose details about how its budget funds are spent in Georgia—specifically, who is being financed, for what purpose, and in what amount.
“If there’s nothing to hide, this information should be made transparent to the public. It’s a basic test of responsible donorship,” Papuashvili wrote on social media.
He criticized the embassy for ignoring repeated public appeals to disclose funding details. According to Papuashvili, there have been cases where foreign money supported hatred, violence, and propaganda, threatening Georgia’s peaceful development.
