IMF Predicts 6% Economic Growth In Georgia In 2025

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts 6% economic growth for Georgia in 2025. This forecast is similar to the forecast made in October last year and is one of the highest among the countries in the region. This is reported in the report published by the IMF on the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus region.

According to the report published by the IMF, the following growth rates are expected in the countries of the region in 2025:

Georgia - 6%, the forecast is unchanged;
Armenia - 4.5%, the forecast is reduced by 0.4 pp;
Azerbaijan - 3.5%, the forecast is increased by 1 pp;
Kazakhstan - 4.9%, the forecast is increased by 0.3 pp.

As for actual figures, in the first 3 months of 2025, the Georgian economy grew by 9.3%.
