Pharmacy chain Impex is building a logistics hub on Kizighi Street in Tbilisi. The warehouse will be built in full compliance with international standards.
Davit Kokhreidze, the company's founder and general director, told BMG, that GEL 20 million is being invested in a logistic centre of 10,000 square meters.
According to him, part of the centre will be opened in 2022, but the project will be completed in about 2 years.
"Since this year, it is necessary for distributors in our sector to have a GDP certificate, and for manufacturers to have a GMP certificate. We started preparing to get the certificate. The logistics centre is also a part of it. To implement the project, we already purchased the territory, received permission from the Tbilisi City Hall, and started construction. It is a 10,000-square-meter, built according to international standards.
The company invests GEL 20 million for warehousing. Part of the budget is already spent, while the other half will be used by the end of the project", says the founder of Impex.
