Union of Oil Product Importers declares, that in January-March 2023, the imports of gasoline and diesel fuel in Georgia amounted to 275 thousand tons, which was 17.8 thousand tons or 6.9% more compared to the same period of the last year (257.2 thousand tons).
Of which, during the first 3 months of 2023, the imports of gasoline fuel amounted to 127.6 thousand tons, and the imports of diesel fuel - 147.5 thousand tons.
By the categories, in January-March 2023, the imports of A-91 regular type gasoline totaled to 76.5 thousand tons (60%); A-95 premium gasoline - 48 thousand tons (37.6%); A-98 super gasoline - 3.1 thousand tons (2.4%);
In January-March of this year, the largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel was imported from Russia - 232.1 thousand tons, which was 84.4% of all imports, followed by Romania - 40.9 thousand tons - 14.9%; Turkmenistan - 1.2 thousand tons - 0.4%; Belarus - 0.7 thousand tons - 0.2%; Ukraine - 0.1 thousand tons - 0.05%; Bulgaria - 0.1 thousand tons - 0.05%.
