Imports of secondhand clothing in Georgia continue to show an upward trend. According to official statistics, during January–November 2025, Georgia imported $41.6 million worth of secondhand apparel, totaling 10,690 tons. In the same period of 2024, imports amounted to $36.7 million and 10,498 tons. As a result, the value of imports increased by 13.3%, while the volume rose slightly by 1.8%. These figures indicate that secondhand clothing products have become more expensive compared to last year.
Turkey remains Georgia’s primary source of secondhand clothing imports. In 2025, Georgia imported $17.7 million worth of clothing, totaling 4,226 tons, from the Turkish market.
