The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Georgia has released a statement.
The educational process in 10 cities of Georgia will be conducted remotely in the first semester. According to the agency, the decision was made today at the Interagency Coordination Council.
In order to reduce the epidemic situation in the country and mobility in big cities, the Interagency Council decided that studies in the first semester will be done remotely in the following cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Zestaponi, Gori, Gardabani, Poti and Marneuli.
The general educational institutions operating on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara continue remote educational processes.
