According to the head of the government, the gross domestic product per capita in 2020 was about USD 4,200, in 2023 the gross domestic product per capita will be close to USD 8,000.
"Gross domestic product per capita in 2020 for comparison was about USD 4,200, GDP increased in 2021, this year GDP per capita is already expected to be around USD 6,700 and according to our forecasts, in 2023 GDP per capita will be close to USD 8000, the economy of our country was about GEL 50 billion in 2020, it will be GEL 80 billion in 2023 - that is, we have an increase of 30 billion in three years, which I agree is quite serious progress. But, we understand that this pace should not be stopped, on the contrary, we should do more, we should continue progress and reforms at a faster pace with more responsibility," said the Prime Minister.
