Tbilisi City Hall published the Q1 budget performance rates. According to the document, 151 705 000 GEL was spent in three months, which is 79% of the plan. Budget revenue made 153 560 000 GEL, which means that the budget performance rate was 80%. Within the accounting period, 3 849 000 GEL went into budget in the form of fines for violation of traffic rules and total of fines imposed for violation of vehicle parking rules was 1 304 000 GEL. Also, income tax revenue made 1 242 000 GEL and property tax revenue – 1 513 000 GEL.
Administrative fees and charges brought to Tbilisi budget 31 649 000 GEL, including fees for construction permits, which made 64.8%; incomes generated from gambling business, public cleansing and other services exceeded the plan. One of the lowest performance rates is in the line economic development facilitation measures, which in its turn includes Tbilisi land use general plan expenses, for which, as far as as we know, no money was spent in Q1 2018.
