In January, Georgian generated total income of $159.3 mln from tourism. Over the period of January-February, number of tourists increased by 25% and number of visitors – by 17.2%.
In February, biggest number of visitors (103 981) came from Azerbaijan. The second position is held by Armenia with 102 707 visitors and third is Turkey with 92 234 visitors.
Last year, Georgia’s income from tourism amounted to 2,7 bln USD.
