In January-November 2022 the external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 17.018 billion, 32.2% higher to the same period of 2021. The exports equaled USD 5.037 billion (31.8% higher), - according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
In January-November 2022 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 78.9%. The top partners were China (USD 660.7 million), Russia (USD 597.9 million) and Azerbaijan (USD 595.5 million).
During this period, exports to Peru increased to a record level, and became one of the largest exporting countries of Georgia. Sales of goods in Kazakhstan and Armenia increased significantly in 11 months. During the reporting period, exports increased with all the largest partners except Ukraine. Despite this, Ukraine remains in the TOP-10 Trading Partners, although it moved from the fifth place to the eighth place in the same period last year.
