On Wednesday, April 30, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, and the General Director of LLC "Renshin," Eduard Marutyan, signed an agreement to implement a urban development program for the construction of the World Trade Center (WTC).
According to the Ministry of Economy's press service, a trilateral agreement was also signed between the Government of Armenia, LLC "Renshin," and CJSC "Haypost," under which a closed joint-stock company "World Trade Center Yerevan" will be established.
The decision to participate in the urban development program for the construction of the World Trade Center (WTC) and to create a closed joint-stock company "World Trade Center Yerevan" was approved by decision No. 1529-a dated September 7, 2023, adopted by the Government of Armenia.
Earlier, it was reported that LLC "Renshin" would build a large office-hotel complex, World Trade Center Yerevan, in the center of Yerevan, with investments amounting to $212 million.
As part of the program, conference halls for international forums, concert and exhibition halls, a business center, and a hotel complex with 180 rooms are planned to be built. The total area of buildings and structures will be 123 thousand square meters. In total, 10 thousand people are planned to be employed in the construction.
