APM Terminals, the owner of Poti Port published its financial report for 2023. According to the document, the company closed the year 2023 with a full income of GEL 226 million, which is GEL 24 million more compared to 2022. As of the financial report, net profit of the company increased as well, amounting to GEL 113 million. The growth made up GEL 19 million.
The report reads, that the increase in their revenues was mainly related to the increase in revenues from container services.

During 2023, the port handled a total of 592,589 containers (TEU), which is an increase of 66% year-on-year. The port served 731 ships last year (a decrease of 84 compared to 2022).
As of December 31, 2022, APM Terminals is 100% shareholder, the company is fully controlled by A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.
