"The main activity of the company is the sale of imported electricity in Georgia, Armenia and Turkey," the company's management report says.
In 2021, the company's income doubled and reached GEL 107.9 million. The company's net profit has also incrased 4 folds to GEL 16 million.
According to the financial report, the director of the company is Vakhtang Ambokadze, who was the director of the state company "ESCO" until 2019. In addition, Vakhtang Ambokadze owns 100% of the company "Lux Energy Holding".
In 2022, Georgia purchased 658 million kilowatt hours of electricity from the Russian Federation, and in 2021, this amount exceeded 1 billion kilowatt hours.
