Rachauli wine company "Lomtadze Family Wine" increased its production by 20% compared to last year, which had a positive impact on exports.
As its co-founder Sofia Samteladze told bm.ge, they are satisfied with the current year's harvest.
"Interest in our wine has increased. Our desire was to grow production and we managed to do it. In addition to the local market, we have also increased exports. Compared to 2020, this year we will increase export figures by 30%," Samteladze explained.
As for the price policy of the company, according to its co-founder, they will have to adjust the prices a little, although they don't know how much yet.
1570 tons of Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli grapes were processed in Ambrolauri municipality. About 1,300 winegrowers handed over grapes to wine enterprises; And the received income reached GEL 11 million. In the current year, there were more than 60 private companies registered in Racha.
